Next Revolution: The Second American Revolution

The sole goal and purpose of this site is to pass our initiative. Our Initiative aims to make our state a democracy again.

The initiative aims to make the simplest structural changes in our campaign finance laws required to limit the power of outsider bribery in local elections, while maintaining the outsider's due speech and assembly rights.

To make our democracy work again, our initiative bans all outside contributions to California elections except contributions from political parties. People, special interests, and corporations from all over the country will still be able to contribute to California's political parties, but our initiative limits the contributions of the political parties to their candidates to no more than one-third of the campaign contributions made by the local voters in that election.

By eliminating direct outside contributions to candidates and restricting party contributions to one-third of the total contributions from the local voters, our initiative prevents party contributions from overwhelming local voters, while preserving  the free speech and assembly rights of the parties and all of the individuals not qualified to vote in that election.

These restrictions maintain free speech and assembly rights, but limits the power of outside bribers and the parties to make  candidates and officeholders more dependent on their bribes and support than the contributions and support of the local voters to get elected.

Our initiative puts the reigns of our democracy back into the hands of the voters, while preserving the free speech and assembly rights of outsiders by maintaining the right of the political parties to receive outside contributions from all over the country.

Everyone in the nation will still be able to contribute to the California parties, and the parties will still be able to express their member's political speech and assembly rights by using this money to support their slate of candidates. But our initiative will end the power of outsiders and political parties to impose candidates and buy elections with big money under the cover of their free speech and assembly rights.

Our initiative preserves the right of people in California and across the country to assemble in political parties with effective free speech rights. Our initiative merely assures that contributions that come from outside the body of the voters will be secondary to the contributions of the local voters.

Our initiative will only change elections so they are capable of producing representatives who represent the interests of their own voters over the bribes of the special interests. Our initiative will make getting elected, and staying in office more dependent on local voters than outside money.

This site has been designed, and is slowly being formed into a forum to bring Californians from all of our political perspectives and locations together to clean up the corruption that has infected our democracy.

This site will eventually function as the central hub of a state-wide political social networking system. This site is not just a place for political expression and blogs, although you are invited to open a dialog with a blog, This is the place where locals from all parts of California who are sick and tired of watching bribery and corruption decide our elections, make our laws and policy, and run our state into the ground can organize themselves in their own cities and counties to clean this mess up.

 

To fix this political mess, the true believes in democracy in California must come together in every town. city, and county in California.

Together, we can make a revolutionary change in how our elections work, who gets elected, and who they serve after being elected. Our initiative puts the rights of the voters before the wealth and power of political bribery.

Our initiative restores the political ethics our government requires to change itself back into a democracy, and place we can once again be proud of.
