Went everywhere. It is quite strange and incredible, how superheated smoke currents snake about, into places that you would think fairly well protected.

In this case everything in this closet, in the living room, as completly dusted with acrid smoke ash.

Note how the shelf, and everything on it, has a fine layer of ash. If you touch anything, your hands blacken. If you then touch anything clean, it is now dirty.

I am fully capable of doing the work, which will involve a few hundred hours, including dealing with the landlord, Reddy Realty, who have been incredibly supportative.

I have established clean zones, to put the full boxes as I clean and pack my stuff.

I made a outside cleaning station composed of a five gallon bucket of water and detergent, and a sponge.

I have established hand-cleaning stations at every sink, to contain the mess.
